According to Sports Zone, Bundesliga clubs RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund are both interested in signing Genk attacking midfielder Bilal El Khannouss (19). The Moroccan international has become somewhat hot property across Europe after an impressive season for Genk.
Several clubs are interested in signing the 19-year-old but Leipzig appear to be leading the race at this stage. The Red Bull club have already approached El Khannouss’ mother, who is also his agent, to try and bring the attacking midfielder to Eastern Germany. Dortmund are also interested but haven’t yet made an offer, Sports Zone report.
A move to the Champions not on the cards?
Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen have also shown an interest in Bilal El KhannousE in the past. However, a move to Leverkusen doesn’t look likely in the summer transfer window as they set their sights on other targets in a bid to retain their crown next season.
