A first international goal is always special but Bradley Barcola will have even more reasons to remember his.
Stepping out at his club’s Parc des Princes home, it took Barcola just 12 seconds to break the deadlock for Didier Deschamps’ side.
He also beat PSG teammate Gianluigi Donnarumma for the opener in the French capital and extended a prolific personal streak.
Barcola now has racked up five goals in his opening four games for club and country this season.
But that wasn’t all, as the 22-year-old wrote his name into the record books with his country’s quickest international goal for 90 years.
Unfortunately his quickfire opener was not enough to prevent Les Bleus from slipping to an eventual 3-1 defeat to the Azzurri in the City of Lights.
Still, talk about a moment to savour.
