After a disappointing performance at the Italian Open, Rafael Nadal was quite unsure about his future in playing in the Roland Garros. Having won the title 14 times already, the Spanish player, who once dominated the Parisian clay courts did not make any official statement and suggested it will be decided in the upcoming days on whether he would have the will to participate in the event or not.
But, the recent reports coming out of Europe suggest that there has been some development over the Spanish player’s final decision to play in Paris. Apparently, he is currently in Manacor and is training in the Rafa Nadal academy. if the reports are true, he will train in the academy and will then be heading straight to Paris to take part in what could be his last event on the clay court this year.
The French Open, which is supposed to start on the 26th of May will go on till the 9th of June. Thus, Rafael Nadal, who is practising in his academy could soon look to make his return to tennis yet again in Paris.
